Our Story
Centura started in Cole Stewart's final semester of college — an idea he couldn't let go of and wouldn't compromise on. With four years of construction experience and a degree he'd worked hard for, he made the decision most graduates would have considered crazy: skip the safe job, lean on his faith, and build something of his own.
What he started building is Centura — a Central Texas home builder rooted in a straightforward idea: a great home should reflect the people who live in it, and a great builder is in the business of making their dreams real.
Cole spends his days where he loves to be — on job sites, in design meetings, and in conversations with the families trusting him with their next chapter. From thoughtful remodels to fully custom builds, every Centura project gets the same standard, the same care, and the same conviction that the work matters.

Our Founders
Cole is the Founder and COO of Centura Builders, where he oversees all aspects of the company’s operations. Cole is a family man and also a devoted Christian who hopes to grow Cenntura Builders on a firm foundation. Cole has grown up a lifelong Aggie, and recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science in the class of 2026. During his time there, he developed a strong foundation in construction management, estimating, and project execution. Cole also has years of hands-on experience in both commercial and residential construction. Centura Builders was founded with the goal of creating a high-performing home-building company that works with talented local subcontractors.
Cole Stewart - Founder and COO
Volney is the Founder and CFO of Centura Builders, where he serves as the advisor on all financial matters. Volney is a long-time business and family man. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, class of 1975. Dan brings years of experience in real estate investing, financial strategy, and key relationships in Central Texas.
